PocketiNet Communications, Inc. has a longstanding commitment to support charitable nonprofit organizations within the Columbia River Basin. Due to the considerable number of grant requests we receive annually, we have implemented the following guidelines to clarify our philanthropic priorities and application process.

          Our Philanthropic Mission

          PocketiNet Communications supports programs that enhance the well-being of families throughout the Columbia River Basin. Our primary focus is on improving the health and well-being of children in crisis by providing grants to nonprofit organizations in education (excluding school fundraisers), healthcare, and the arts. 

          Our Grant Range: $250-$5,000

          At PocketiNet, we believe in fostering thriving communities. Our company awards grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 to local nonprofits that share our commitment to positive change. Together, we can build stronger communities. 

          Ineligible Grant Requests

          Based on our guiding principles, PocketiNet Communications does not consider grant requests under the following circumstances: 

          • Requests made by individuals or for-profit corporations 
          • Requests made to benefit social, fraternal, political, or serving a limited constituency 
          • Requests intended as giveaway prizes, raffle prizes, employee volunteer recognition, or incentive awards 
          • Requests made by “pass-through” organizations seeking funds on behalf of another organization 
          • Requests made by organizations that advocate for, support, or engage in activities inconsistent with the company’s non-discrimination policies based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or status as a protected veteran

          Our Grant Request Timeline

          The PocketiNet Communications Charitable Giving Committee carefully reviews grant applications each fall during our annual budget planning process. To increase your organization’s chances of receiving funding, we encourage you to submit your grant application by October 31st. While requests received after this deadline may still be considered, they will compete for limited funds due to budget constraints. The committee prioritizes applications that align with PocketiNet’s mission and values, demonstrate a clear need, and have a well-defined plan for utilizing the grant.
